At Madeira . The Portuguese authorities inform the British diplomats in Lisbon of their passage.
ref:2048That together a brigantine and a sloop succeeded in capturing the following ships on October 21, 25 and 27, 1745:
1.- english frigate King David, Capt. William Moore
2.- english frigate Seahorse, Capt. Daniel Robinson
3. -english frigate Tartar, Capt. Frank Thuvaits
There was also a snow with 14 nine pounders (by Samuel Gloake, english captive in spanish fleet)

Given that "El Diligente" was the largest vessel, it is logical that the person in charge of the operation would lead the operation. Even so, there is no record that he was in command of this vessel and so I leave a record.
